Charlie Siegle

 

Charlie is a Solicitor in the litigation and dispute resolution team at Stephens Scown’s Exeter office. He specialises in private client litigation and in particular disputes involving wills and estates. He is currently in the final year of studying for the ACTAPS diploma (Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists).

Charlie will be discussing how dementia (and other conditions affecting mental capacity) can impact on a person's ability to manage their affairs. His presentation will cover the law as it applies to capacity and an individual's ability to manage his or her own affairs, together with the possible consequences that a lack of capacity may bring for the individual, the carers and their family.
