SEE IT AT THE CARE SHOW FIRST!
A significant number of new exhibitors are adding to the diversity of the Care Show Bournemouth, a major showcase of products and services for care homes for older people. The event, which runs at the BIC on the 30th – 31st March 2010, is a key opportunity to reach care home owners and operators and brings to light the very latest innovations in the industry.
The broad range of new and existing products and services that will be on show range from Danfloor UK’s antimicrobial flooring to Medi-Technique’s digital observation system for remote care observation and diagnostics. Visitors will have the opportunity to see demonstrations from Aidcall’s nursecall communication systems, meet representatives from Vision Call, the largest provider of domiciliary eye care in the UK and see an extensive range of laundry equipment from Girbau. Furniture, catering, pharmacy services and mobility are just a few of the care-related product categories at this year’s Show. New exhibitors include: purchasing management specialists A J Purchasing, Bodystat, Clockwork Continuity Planning, the College of Occupational Therapists, turnkey solutions provider DECS Group, Elmgrove Furniture, Medi-Technique Systems, Quartz Contracts, The Aged Care Channel and leading clinical waste management company SRCL.
The Care Show Bournemouth, together with the Care Show Birmingham and the Care Show London brings together experts in all areas of the care of older people, from care association leaders and representatives of the Care Quality Commission to innovators, nutrition specialists, and health and legal professionals. There will be plenty of opportunity to hear the very latest care policy updates in the Care Show Seminar Theatre and hear news and ask questions on key concerns about the management of care homes. The previous success of the Care Show’s Dementia Care Theatre, where visitors can learn all they need to know about caring for residents with dementia, has guaranteed its further inclusion in 2010 shows.
Jonny Sullens, Events Director, comments: “The recent amount of media attention given to the care of older people has given increased significance to the Care Shows. If you own or manage a care home, this is a unique opportunity for you to get right up to date with what’s newly available and on the market. It has become a fast moving sector and visitors to the Care Shows see plenty of innovation and improvements in standards. The message is ‘come and see it at the Care Show Bournemouth first!’”
The Care Show Bournemouth runs from Tuesday 30th March – Wednesday 31st March 2010, 10am – 4pm at the BIC, Bournemouth. Entry is free but registration is required.
