SPECIALIST BATHROOMS PROVIDE FLEXIBILITY FOR INDEPENDENT USE
Pressalit Care has been designing high quality, long term bathroom solutions for health care providers for over thirty years, meeting best practice and providing value for money. At this year’s Care Show, we will be introducing our range of carefully designed bathroom products for hygiene rooms, accessible toilets and shower facilities for both new build and refurbishment care home projects.
Incorporating our unique track system, the Pressalit Care solution allows products to be adjusted horizontally or vertically, to suit the individual requirements of users and their carers in a safe and comfortable environment.
Specialist bathroom facilities such as those we have fitted at St Dunstan’s Centre for blind ex-Service men and women at Ovingdean near Brighton allow residents to enjoy the highest degree of flexibility and independent use.
An independent user generally requires products close at hand, whilst dependent situations involving carers or assistants, demand the provision of space. These varying needs can be accommodated in one room using the Pressalit Care track system. Indeed, the adjustable products are more space efficient and make smaller room sizes easier to work in.

The Pressalit Care range of accessible bathroom solutions includes:
• Height adjustable wash basins offering a comfortable position for both standing and seated users. Used with the Pressalit Care track system, wash basins can be height adjusted either electrically, by gas cylinder lever control, or manually.
• Hinged arm supports, ergonomically designed and slip resistant. Arm supports can make sliding and standing transfers much easier, while providing all round sitting support.
• Height adjustable nursing benches with a weight capacity of up to 200kg. For use in situations where a person needs to be showered or changed while lying down, the nursing bench can be lowered to allow for transfer from a chair, and raised for the optimum working height for the carer.
• Adjustable shower chair, designed for maximum independence, safety and comfort.
• Toilet seats designed for stability. Extra strong, our toilet seats are ergonomically designed with a variety of practical features.
