Care Show launches charity partnership with the Care Professionals Benevolent Fund
The Care Show series has today announced a new charity partnership with the Care Professionals Benevolent Fund, the trade charity for the care profession. The partnership is set to launch officially at the upcoming Care Show London (www.careshow.co.uk), taking place at London’s Olympia from 11-12 October. Care show organisers, UBM have explained that they were keen to find a charity partner relevant to the care sector which would be able to support the show’s visitor base. So, according to Marketing Manager, Helen Beckett: “When the CPBF approached us we thought they provided the perfect fit”.
Chris Edwards, Care Show Event Manager, has also expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying: “The Care Show team is delighted to welcome the CPBF as our official charity partner. We are very impressed with the support they provide to current, former and retired care professionals, which is the group that we cater for with the Care Shows. We have many commonalities in terms of their members and our exhibitors and visitors and therefore feel that this partnership represents a fantastic synergy which will be mutually beneficial for everyone concerned. We look forward to showcasing the CPBF to our visitors and exhibitors who may be able to benefit from their expertise and support.”
Care Show London is a leading trade event for the care sector, combining an important mix of industry expertise, CPD opportunities and the latest products and services from over 100 suppliers, to more than 1500 visitors. There are three Care Shows each year which are located in Bournemouth, Birmingham and London and this year’s London event will introduce a number of new features including a Media Relations Workshop, Live Kitchen and a summit for care providers across the South East of England about local association membership.
The CPBF will have a presence at the show (stand B78) to inform the care industry about this new partnership and the work that they do.
Care Show London is free to attend for pre-registered visitors (www.careshow.co.uk/london).
