Jane Farleigh

Jane has spent almost all of her career in the public sector, commencing with various Civil Service Departments, followed by 10 years in the NHS and for the last 6 years in agencies attached to the Home Office.

Some highlights include: HR manager with English Heritage; She led on the Department of Health and Social Care quality agenda for Wales whilst working for the Welsh Assembly; During her time in the NHS, Jane worked across all the NHS Wales organisations and she published many sets of good practice guidelines.  Jane was also an Assistant Director for Reviews and Inspections with the Government Health Watchdog, now known as the Healthcare Quality Commission.

Jane’s current role is Regional Director for the UK Border Agency and is the agency lead for issues relation to the Care Sector.
