The Fitness Focus feature will demonstrate a new line of fitness equipment designed by Technogym specifically for care homes.
One home that has installed the Easy Line fitness range is Redholme Memory Care Home in Liverpool. Falls in the home are down by 20% and falls that do occur are less serious – there have been no broken bones in the past 12 months . The staff have also noticed an increase in compliance amongst dementia sufferers, for example if they refuse to eat, a short session in the gym means they are happier to sit at the table. |
