Claire and Claire will talk about how they combined their experience for integrating innovations and leadership development within large organisations to form an in-house care accelerator at Hallmark Care Homes.
They wil set the scene with an overview of the multi-award-winning care group and their continual plans to look at innovative ways to improve services. In 2004, the company created the Hallmark Care Homes' Charter.
This underpins their vision: 'To be recognised as the leading provider of high-quality relationship centred care for all.' Within it, one of Hallmark's key values 'Innovation' is communicated and there is a directive 'to encourage creativity, ingenuity and the entrepreneurial spirit'. It also states 'we can be counted on to bring innovation and flexibility to meeting the changing demands of our communitities and regulators'.
It is these values which underpin the Care Accelerator.
The Care Accelerator, thought to be the first of its kind in the care sector works with teams within the business to research and develop solutions to challenges set by the senior management team to meet the changing needs of care. The programme has been specially crafted to include an equal leadership development programme to equip participants with leadership skills essential for progressing change successfully.
