Rebuilding and restoring relationships through technology
During the pandemic many care home residents experienced separation from their families and friends. This was worse for residents who struggled to use technology. MHA care homes turned to Famileo to help overcome some of these difficulties. Famileo includes a social media platform for a resident’s families and friends, enabling them to share photos and comments. This information is then printed off as a personalised paper gazette for residents. The session will explore how Famileo has helped MHA to rebuild and maintain relationships between residents, their families and care home staff. It will also focus on the challenges and positives of the Famileo roll out across MHA 89 care homes.
