Lightyear Celebrates Multi-Award-Winning Success And Unveils Innovative Future Plans
Lightyear, the market-leading procure-to-pay platform, has soared into the Top 20 Fastest Growing Fintech companies in Europe, as rated by this year's Financial Times FT1000.
Headquartered in Belfast, Northern Ireland and with offices in Sydney, Lightyear is a trailblazer in how businesses handle their purchasing and accounts payable processes.
This achievement continues the success of the last 12 months, which saw Lightyear rank #1 in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards, being named the fastest-growing technology company in Northern Ireland.
Lightyear was grateful to receive a multitude of awards from Gartner, including Front Runners in Accounts Payable, Best Customer Support and Advice, and Belfast Telegraph's Best Place to Work in IT awards.
The recognition continued at the 2023 Digital DNA awards, with Lightyear taking home the gold for Small Tech Company Of The Year and Chris Gregg winning Founder Of The Year.

In preparation for the projected expansion, the Development Team have been busy working on delivering two significant feature releases. Firstly, Lightyear is proud to introduce their next-generation Smart Extract Technology, which leverages on best-in-class AI advancements. This update will work alongside the already excellent data extraction technology that Lightyear offers, enabling the extraction of data from various image files, unstructured documents, sideways scans, and even handwritten documents.
Secondly, the automation powerhouse is gearing up for the biggest release of 2023: Reimbursable Expenses. This marks the inception of a series of new functionalities designed to further enhance the Lightyear platform. These enhancements will offer users exceptional flexibility and ease of use as they can have all their needs solved for within one outstanding platform.
