Adam Gordon

Professor of the Care of older People, University of Nottingham
Adam Gordon is Professor of Care of Older People at the University of Nottingham. He is a practising geriatrician and conducts research into how healthcare is delivered in care homes. His work considers how care home and healthcare staff can work together to optimise the health and wellbeing of residents and how care homes can collect and use data to improve care. He is academic advisor to care home projects within the East Midlands Academic Health Sciences Network Patient Safety Collaborative, chairs the Enabling Research in Care Homes (EnRICH) network for Nottingham and Derbyshire, and is Vice President for Academic Affairs of the British Geriatrics Society.
