Anne Graham is one of the 2 co-founders of Resolve Care and is the Registered Manager of the Resolve service at High View House. Resolve operates two homes both of which are rated “Outstanding” by the Care Quality Commission. A qualified social worker, Anne previously worked in child protection, and has over 20 years’ experience working for Local Authorities and the NHS. Anne became increasingly drawn to the challenges of supporting people with Autism and Learning Disabilities who had committed offences, noting that the family backgrounds of these people were often dysfunctional. Anne also identified the limited extent of the provision that exists for this unique client group, and the limitations of meaningful support available for these people. Since founding Resolve Care Anne has contributed to the development of the ground-breaking model of care operated by Resolve, and the academic paper underpinning the approach which was published in the Journal of Intellectual Disabilities and Offending Behaviour in 2016. Anne works in the services every day, and is a prime source of guidance and knowledge for the staff team, and the people supported by Resolve. Anne leads the team in understanding the unique needs and capabilities of every resident, to ensure that appropriate support and activities are always available.
