Professor of Dementia Studies, Director of the Centre for Dementia Research, Leeds Beckett University
Prof Claire Surr has a background in dementia education and research, having taught and led University degree and continuing professional development programmes on dementia for the health and social care workforce. Her research interests are in the areas of dementia workforce development, psychosocial interventions and dementia service development, with a particular interest in care home settings. She has recently completed a national study looking at effective approaches to dementia education and training for the health and social care workforce.
