As Founder and Clinical Lead of The National GSF Centre and Hon Professor University Birmingham, Keri is regarded nationally and internationally as an expert in improving end-of-life care. Working as a GP and in hospices for over 30 years, and formerly DH National Clinical Lead and RCGP EOLC Clinical Champion, she developed GSF programmes for primary care (2000), care homes (2004), hospitals (2008) and others . The GSF Centre, a voluntary sector not-for-profit organization, is the UK’s leading provider of end-of-life care training. In 2017 she was awarded an OBE and the RCGP President’s Medal for services to end-of-life care.
