Professional Practice Coordinator, Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman
I began my professional career as a social worker in adult social services. I then qualified as a counsellor and worked with adults and young people with mental ill-health. I started working for the Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman in 2009 as a specialist adult social care Investigator. I was later appointed as Professional Practice Co-ordinator, assuming responsibility for developing best practice in casework and investigative approaches and overseeing quality assurance.
