Nicola Bellotto

Dr Nicola Bellotto is a Reader in Computer Science at the University of Lincoln. His main research interests are in machine perception, especially for human detection, tracking, identification and activity recognition with autonomous mobile robots. Before joining Lincoln, he was a PhD student at the University of Essex and a post-doctoral research assistant at the University of Oxford. Dr Bellotto worked on several research projects in mobile robotics and assistive technology. In particular, he was the technical manager of ENRICHME, an EU-funded research project to enable older people with mild cognitive impairment to be more active and independent using robotic and smart-home services.
