Senior Economist, The Health Foundation
Omar Idriss is a Senior Economist at the Health Foundation's REAL Centre (Research and Economic Analysis for the Long-term). He leads a programme of research and analysis on NHS and social care funding, workforce and productivity. Prior to joining the Foundation Omar worked for 11 years in the civil service as a member of the Government Economics Service. Most of his time was spent at DHSC, with secondments to HMT and CQC.
