The new role of care technologists

The Care Technologist Training Project is set to create a new type of professional for adult social care and aims to enable people who draw on care and support to confidently find and use technology that can improve their ability to make choices, stay independent, stay well, and connect with others. In this session you will hear about NCF’s plans for the training programme, progress on how it has been adopted and embedded already in Scotland, the boost it will bring in terms of skills and the point of view of tech providers and people with lived experience who are helping shape the role.
