As a family run business with a history in the care sector, Staffscanner healthcare has core values embedded throughout our organisation. Being the number one choice for Care Services throughout Scotland, and due ,to client demand we have taken the decision to expand throughout the UK.  We would like to take this opportunity to provide an insight into how Staffscanner began and showcase how our App can benefit your Care Service and provide continuity of care to those you support and care for. 

Our Director, Reza, knows all too well the issues and barriers that are often faced by Care Service Managers in regard to temporary staffing.  Reza has his own Glasgow based Care Home and faced the perpetual problems of finding reliable, good quality, temporary staff.  So much so that Reza developed a service to tackle the problems associated with short term staffing and Staffscanner was born!  

Unlike traditional recruitment agencies, Staffscanner is a temporary staffing platform with a twist!  The power of choice is firmly in your hands; bank shifts can easily and efficiently be posted via the Staffscanner App, where pre-vetted Healthcare Professionals are able to apply instantly, once a Staffscanner Healthcare Professional has applied to any of the bank shifts the Care Service Manager can quickly review the Healthcare Professional’s profile and assign the most relevant candidate.  The profile includes such information as COVID vaccine status, DBS, professional qualifications, reliability and work experience.

Staffscanner is built on the foundation that we enable Care Services to get the right person for the job, improving the quality of care and continuity - whilst also saving the sector money by “cutting out the middleman”.
