DentaBlue is an innovative oral care solution created to address one of the most overlooked challenges faced by people living with dementia: maintaining good oral health when traditional oral care routines become difficult. For many people, toothbrushing and mouthwash can be uncomfortable, confusing or distressing, creating challenges for both family carers and care professionals.

DentaBlue is a soft, sugar-free and vegan gummy that contains ingredients commonly found in oral care products. It is designed to help reduce harmful bacteria in the mouth while promoting freshness and oral comfort, offering an alternative option when conventional oral care methods are not suitable.

The product was developed through extensive collaboration with people living with dementia, family carers and healthcare professionals. Feedback from more than 200 contributors helped shape the product to ensure it meets the real-world needs of those using and supporting dementia care.

DentaBlue was inspired by founder Molly Baldini's experience working within dementia services and seeing first-hand how oral health challenges can impact comfort, dignity and overall wellbeing. The innovation aims to make oral care more accessible and less stressful while helping maintain quality of life for people affected by dementia.
