The Whzan Blue Box gives care teams a simple, connected way to capture and share vital signs in minutes. Using the portable kit, carers can record observations, complete NEWS2, RESTORE2, UTI, falls and dementia checks, and securely share results with GPs and other clinicians when further support is needed.

Designed for both care homes and homecare, the Blue Box helps teams make confident, evidence-backed referrals and gives clinicians access to clear, up-to-date observations. For care homes using PCS or Nourish, observation recordings and NEWS2 scores can also transfer directly into resident records, reducing duplication and helping information flow more efficiently.

Whzan is already used by more than 3,000 care providers across the UK, with over 4.9 million observations captured. Evidence from 11 care homes in North Central London found average reductions of 53% in emergency admissions, 67% in A&E attendances and 44% in ambulance call-outs after introducing Whzan.
