Call for judges: Help spotlight the rising stars of the care sector

The Care Show Thirty Under 30 initiative is back for its third consecutive year and it’s more vital than ever. In a time where the care sector faces increasing pressure and uncertainty, it’s crucial to recognise the young talent who are not just navigating the challenges but reshaping the future of the sector.

In 2024 we received over 100 nominations, from care managers to chefs, to compliance officers and more! After careful review, thirty exceptional young professionals were selected for their passion, innovation and impact. As a result, these thirty individuals joined our growing alumni network of committed professionals who are driving the sector forward.

Now, as we begin preparations for the 2025 initiative, we need your help to shape the next class of care trailblazers. Do you have what it takes to be a Thirty Under 30 judge?

As a judge, you will play a crucial role in recognising and uplifting tomorrow’s care leaders. You’ll be asked to review and score several nominations using a simple scoring sheet, with room for brief written feedback. Judging will take place between Tuesday 26 August - Wednesday 3 September, with the Care Show Thirty Under 30 Class of 2025 announced the week of 8 September and formally celebrated at the Care Show Birmingham taking place on 8-9 October 2025 at the NEC Birmingham.

The initiative is free to enter for all care professionals aged 29 or under (or turning 30 in 2025) working within residential or domiciliary care services, regardless of what their responsibilities are. We are looking for submissions of individuals who work in care, nursing, catering, operations, marketing, and more. Individuals can nominate themselves or be nominated by a colleague, peer, or friend.

By becoming a judge, you’ll be recognised across our promotional campaign and will play a pivotal role in encouraging excellence, ambition, and pride among the rising stars of our sector.
