Amaan Sadiq
Amaan Sadiq is one of the youngest rising leaders in social care, bringing more than six years of hands-on experience and an extraordinary passion for improving the lives of vulnerable adults. Still in his early twenties, he combines youthful energy with wisdom beyond his years, shaped by both charitable work and professional dedication. From a young age he was drawn to championing dignity and fairness, volunteering his time to help others and speaking out for better outcomes in care.
Professionally, Amaan has progressed rapidly, starting in branding and marketing before moving into operational support, junior director roles, and then Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance. Today he serves as Director of Compliance and Auditing at Langdale Care Homes and is also one of the youngest individuals to register with the Care Quality Commission as a Registered Manager, holding responsibility for both Langdale House and Oakdale Care Home. Alongside his leadership roles, he holds a Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care and advanced training in Positive Behaviour Support, Breakaway and Safe Restraint, and Restraint Reduction Network Accredited Practice.
His commitment to excellence has been widely recognised. In 2023 he was nominated at the Leicestershire Care Professionals of the Year Awards for both Care Leader of the Year and Innovator of the Year. In 2024 he won the Caring UK Award for Best Initiative in Care. That same year he was a finalist at the Social Care Leadership Awards for Quality Assurance Leader and Young Leader in Social Care, a finalist at the Care Professionals of the Year Awards for Care Leader of the Year, and nominated for Excellence in Executive Inclusive Leadership at the Midlands Inclusivity and Diversity Awards. In 2025 he was named Most Innovative Compliance and Auditing Leader by Acquisitions International.
Amaan has also published articles on compliance and innovation in care and is a passionate advocate for mental health, inclusion, and fairness. His achievements at such a young age make him one of the most exciting emerging voices in social care today. As one of the youngest ever CQC Registered Managers, an award-winning leader, and a tireless advocate for better systems, Amaan embodies the future of the sector. His journey is proof that youth is not a limitation but a strength, and his vision continues to inspire a new generation of leaders determined to make care safer, stronger, and more human.
