Andrew Wood is Company Director at Wood Care Group a family-run care home provider operating nine residential, nursing and dementia care services across the North of England. His background is in the acquisition and turnaround of underperforming care settings, with a focus on improving quality, strengthening leadership, developing teams and creating sustainable services for residents, families and staff. Within Wood Care Group, he leads on governance, strategy and operational oversight across the organisation, which now employs over 500 people. Andrew is passionate about building strong systems, supporting his teams and ensuring that high standards of care are delivered consistently across every home. Andrew is also a Company Director at Correct Care, an e-learning, hr and people compliance platform designed for care homes and domiciliary care providers. Andrew is driven by continuous improvement and by creating organisations that deliver better outcomes for residents, families and the teams who support them.
