Dan features on British TV regularly including contributions to BBC News 24, Channel 5 News, Sky News, BBC Breakfast and Good Morning Britain. He is also an active political lobbyist. In the last 18months he has met the Conservative and Labour parties to discuss the care sector. Since launching his business in the UK in 2018 the Visiting Angels network has grown to 80 locations across the UK, now employs 2000 people and has grown to £47m in annual revenues. Dan has over 25 years in UK franchising and has been in the care sector since 2011. He won a Great British Entrepreneur Award in 2024 and also won Entrepreneur of the Year in the Yorkshire Post business awards last year. Dan’s first TedX talk from 2023 about workforce challenges in elder care, has been viewed over 100k times. His second TedX from April 2026 Technology Should make us more human is one of the Top 20 Ted Talks of 2026 having been viewed over 375k times.
