
Deborah Rozansky

Deborah leads SCIE's policy influencing and research team. Her work includes generating evidence about best practices in social care and using this evidence to inform improvements in social care policy and practice. Co-production lies at the heart of this work. Recent work includes the co-creation of a co-production outcomes toolkit for local authorities.
Before joining SCIE, Deborah led complex change programmes across government, the NHS, and social care, developing her expertise in ageing, wellbeing and integrated care. Her experience includes directing innovative R&D programmes, including the design of care tech solutions and service improvements.
Deborah worked previously in senior leadership roles at the Office for Public Management, the Health Foundation and the Royal College of Nursing. Earlier in her career, she worked for the Medicare and Medicaid healthcare programmes in the USA. Deborah’s leadership experience includes several trusteeships at national health and social care charities. She was educated at Harvard University (AB, History) and UCLA (MSc, Public Health) and recently completed an MSc at Imperial College London (Healthcare and Design).
