Finn Turner-Berry - National Care Forum

Finn Turner-Berry

Policy, Research & Projects Officer, National Care Forum
Finn Turner-Berry is one of the Policy, Research, and Project Officers in the policy team at the National Care Forum. Since joining the NCF in 2022, Finn has shaped national debate on pay, conditions, and employment reform in adult social care, most notably through his work on the Fair Pay Agreement for ASC and the Employment Rights Bill. His policy briefs span industrial relations, workforce strategy, learning disability and autism, and applied research methods. Having been awarded a capacity-building fellowship by the NIHR School for Social Care Research, Finn also focuses on translating academic insight into real-world practice through the research work he leads at the NCF. He works on a range of projects, from exploring the recruitment and retention of male care workers (the MEND study) to RCTs on nutrition (REFRESH) and the national ASC Workforce Research Partnership. Finn is also a proud member of the Out Standing Diversity Forum and has enjoyed joining social care colleagues from across the LGBTQ+ community at London Pride and other vital sector-specific events. He is committed to enacting lasting, impactful, and measurable change for LGBTQ+ people in the workforce, as well as those who draw on care and support.
