Jacqui is a dedicated advocate for unpaid carers and adults with additional needs. Drawing on her personal experience supporting family members and raising a young person who requires daily assistance, she brings valuable insight to her work. Jacqui actively participates in both national and local organisations, such as Carers UK and Healthwatch Rutland. Her advocacy has been recognised by national media appearances, including contributions to Morning Live, Good Morning Britain and Sky News. In 2021, Jacqui received the British Empire Medal in the Late Queen’s New Year Honours List for her outstanding service to the local community.
