Dr Jane Brightman is an Independent Strategic Advisor specialising in leadership, learning, AI and innovation in adult social care. With more than 30 years' experience spanning frontline care, education, national policy and digital transformation, she helps boards and leadership teams navigate change with confidence while keeping people at the heart of care. Jane has held senior national roles across government, education and the social care sector, including the Digitising Social Care programme at NHS England and leading the development of England's first long-term Workforce Strategy for adult social care at Skills for Care. She is a recognised thought leader, speaker and facilitator, passionate about making AI practical, accessible and impactful for care providers and the people they support. In recognition of her contribution to adult social care, Jane was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Arden University in 2022.
