Katie Shaw is a Co-Production & Engagement Officer within Adult Social Care at Telford & Wrekin Council. As a queer disabled woman who has drawn on adult social care support since 2016, she brings both lived and professional experience to her work. After volunteering with Telford Adult Social Care from 2017, Katie joined the council in 2023 in her current role. She is passionate about co-production, inclusion and accessibility, and works to ensure that people with lived experience and unpaid carers are equal partners in shaping services, influencing decisions and improving outcomes across adult social care.
