Martin is an established CEO within the social care sector. his non-executive and Trustee roles ( Past Chair of the Homecare Association; Chair of The Care Workers’ Charity; member of the Age UK Board;) place him in a unique position to understand the issues facing the social care sector and to campaign for change. He has a particular interest in the integration of health and social care and the role our homes will play as the hospitals of the future. Martin is also an advocate of the need to professionalise care work. He lead one of the largest home care brands in the UK and Internationally. Martin was awarded an MBE for services to older people.
