Melissa Magee is Company Director and Architect at Carless + Adams. Specialising in the design of Care Homes and Integrated Retirement Communities, Melissa and her team share a passion to transform the design of care homes, and how care is delivered by creating environments that residents are excited to live in and care workers can’t wait to work in. Melissa was on this year’s judging panel for the Knight Frank Luxury care home awards, is proud to have accepted on behalf of the team Architectural Practice of 2023 from Thames Valley Property Awards and has co-authored white papers on the perception and future of design plus sustainability within the care sector. A passionate force in the sector, Melissa herself is an experienced Architect focussing on the design of care accommodation for the elderly. Her enviable knowledge of the care sector has given her extraordinary insight into what challenges and opportunities lie ahead.
