Neil Russell

Working alongside his mum, Jan Flawn CBE, Neil has been a key part of PJ Care’s success since they first opened in 2001, in that time he has carried out every role in the company, including working as a carer, housekeeper or chef when required. He took over as Chairman in 2017 and has continued the company’s growth and development, successfully steering them through the trials of the pandemic. Neil firmly believes that success in Care comes from the provision of good care, and that this is achieved by ensuring the people providing the care are given the right support, tools and opportunities to ensure their work is of the highest quality. Success and achievement in the care sector should not be measured by the size of a home’s bottom line, but simply by the well being of those being cared for. Prior to joining the care sector Neil served overseas in Abu Dhabi, Brazil and Poland for the Diplomatic Service and as a restaurant manager for Trust House Forte.
