I am the managing director of W&P Legal an award winning law firm based in Market Deeping near Peterborough. The firm specialises in the Elderly Care sector, offering Wills and Estate Planning, Later Life Planning, Estate Administration Services, Tax and Trust advice, Care Advocacy, and Civil and Commercial Mediation services in the Private Client Area. The firm was founded by me in October 2005 as Will and Probate Services and has grown to be a well respected firm in the unregulated sector. I have been called the most respected estate planner in the UK. I am a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a fellow of both the Society of Will Writers (SWW) and the Institute of Paralegals (IOP). I am a member of the SWW Professional standards board (PSB) with responsibility for Oversight and Governance which includes adjudicating on complaints against members. I am a senior member of the TAS Network of Independent Estate Planners with a place of their management team. I cofounded Clearlines with my son Tom because of my experiences in the care sector with my father and father in law. These led me to the conclusion that proper risk assessment when bringing new clients into care was virtually non existent. We have set out to change that and prove that outstanding care starts with Clearlines.
