Inventor Dr Samuel Bailey will present the Pippa AI powered Cooking Monitor. Cooking is by far the largest cause of fires, and the risk is particularly high amongst the elderly. Pippa is a monitoring device that recognises cooking fires and warns the user several minutes before any flames ignite. This lets users simply turn the stove off, preventing the fire from breaking out.
