Dr Sandy Toogood provides Clinical and Behavioural Support for the app owners and is Honorary Professor in the College of Human Sciences at Bangor University. Sandy helped develop Active Support in the 1980s before taking a leadership role in the UK’s first behavioural support team. He has been an academic practitioner for many years and a pioneer of Positive Behavioural Support in the UK and other countries. Sandy has co-authored several books and chapters and published many journal articles and training manuals. He has consulted widely with many organisations over the years and was a founder member of the PBS Academy. Sandy provided the conceptual framework for the app. While developing the app, he worked with CQC on a new inspection framework for learning disability services
