Sundus is a nationally recognised medicines optimisation pharmacist with over 25 years of experience in primary care. A qualified Independent Prescriber, she specialises in frailty, polypharmacy, medicines optimisation in care homes, and the care of older people. She has led numerous award-winning quality improvement initiatives, including a Prime Minister's Dementia Challenge project promoting the safer use of antipsychotics in people with dementia and the Good Hydration in Care Homes initiative. Sundus is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pharmacy, the elected Chair of the National Pharmacy Care Home Faculty, and an Honorary Fellow at the University of Oxford. She is also the Founder and Director of Pharm-ACE Solutions UK Ltd, which provides medicines management consultancy, education, and training to health and social care providers to improve the safe and effective use of medicines.
