Umbreen David is an award-winning social care leader, entrepreneur and advocate for inclusive leadership, with more than 30 years experience across the health and social care sector. As Managing Director and founder of Hoama Group Ltd and Iden Manor Nursing Home, Umbreen leads organisations committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred care while creating positive workplace cultures and meaningful community impact. Her leadership combines commercial vision with compassion, demonstrating that high-quality care and sustainable business growth go hand in hand. Passionate about shaping the future of social care, Umbreen champions innovation, therapeutic environments and leadership that places people at the heart of decision-making. Her work focuses on improving outcomes for those receiving care, supporting and developing care professionals, and helping the sector embrace new ways of thinking about excellence, inclusion and wellbeing. Alongside her executive leadership responsibilities, Umbreen serves as a Board Director of the Kent Integrated Care Alliance (KiCA), representing and advocating for care providers across Kent and Medway. She is also an Ambassador for Championing Social Care, promoting the value, professionalism and positive impact of the sector. Beyond social care, Umbreen contributes to national conversations around entrepreneurship and inclusion. She is a contributor to the Disability Finance Code for Entrepreneurship (DFCE) Annual Report 2026, mentors disabled entrepreneurs through the Lilac Review network, and regularly shares her expertise through public speaking, published articles and strategic advisory work. Umbreen was named Stelios Disabled Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 and received a Stevie® Silver Award recognising her business leadership on the international stage. She is also a published author and continues to champion leadership that is purposeful, inclusive and driven by lasting social impact.
