Whzan is clinical pathway agnostic and completely customisable. A patient can be provided with any combination of medical devices and assessments to monitor their condition(s) as needed by their clinical pathway. Whzan already supports over 40 Bluetooth instruments, supports manual entry for non-Bluetooth devices, and we integrate new devices and create new assessments upon request at zero cost to align to the required pathway. We produce assessments in NEWS2, Significant 7, SBARD, DASA and several other formats. We also provide home activity and environment monitoring devices to support person centred care. Whzan updates configured patient/pathway dashboards in real-time from both continuous and intermittent data feeds. Whzan uses Bluetooth links to both spot value and continuous monitoring brand agnostic medical devices. Our “Blue Box” comprises a tablet computer with 5G/4G and Wi-Fi capability, able to connect to a selection of circa 45 different Bluetooth medical devices including thermometers, blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, ECGs, stethoscope, spirometers, scales, blood testers and wearables. Data is captured via Bluetooth connected devices or manual entry and stored for transfer automatically to the Whzan dashboard via Wi-Fi or GSM. Whzan currently transfers information to multiple Electronic Patient Record systems and third-party systems. Whzan has completed integration and is live with EMIS, Oracle Health (Cerner), SystmOne, Rio, Adastra, PARIS, National Records Locator, PDS, NHS Single Sign on, local record systems such as the Lincolnshire Care Record, digital alarm receiving centre systems, SkyResponse and UMO. We are in discussions to integrate with EPIC before end of 2025. We hold ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 13485, Cyber essentials + accreditation and actively promote the pursuance of compliance and inclusion. -
